How do I use the quick referral request tool?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to "Request" on the left-hand side. Ensure that the "Referrals" tab is selected.
- Choose between a company or personal referral request. Admin controls determine who manages the messages for company requests.
- Add the first and last name of the person you're requesting a referral from, along with their phone number. If applicable, select the referral payout option based on admin settings.
- Preview the referral request to ensure it looks correct.
- Click "Send Request" to deliver the message to your contact.
- Check out the referral summary, referral leaderboard, and referral history report to track referral activity and payouts.
How do I use the messaging feature to communicate with referrals?

Log in to your Snoball account, and select the "Message" tab from the menu on the left.
Note: To have access to the Messaging Desk, you must be on our referral plan with a paid seat. You'll also need to assign yourself to the messaging desk in "Admin Controls." -
Use the search bar or filter icon to find specific conversations.
Click the pencil icon to start a new conversation with a contact.
Select a conversation. Identify referral, review, and video testimonial icons underneath the customer's name and phone number. Icons are highlighted when actions are performed.

Click on the message field. You can type a personalized message or use templates.
Click on the template icon to select the template you'd like to use.The template will auto-populate, and you can edit the message to fit the specific conversation.

Click the paper clip icon to add attachments to the message.

Use the bell icon to set reminders to follow up with the customer.

Either send the message immediately, or click the arrow icon to schedule the message.Choose a date and time. Click "Schedule."

How do I use the referral marketing assets and widgets?

Log in to your Snoball account.
Select the "Referral Marketing" tab from the menu on the left.

Stay on the "Create Placement" tab.Scroll down to find the assets and widgets.
- Click on each asset or widget to generate it. You'll be directed to a form to fill out details like name, description, and payouts.
- The payouts you set are specific to that individual asset and will have no effect on payouts you have set in “Admin Controls.”
- After generating, click on "Copy Link" or "Copy Code" or "Download PNG" to access the asset or widget you created.

or deleting them in the "Manage Placements" section.

Referrals will automatically be sent to your CRM if it has been integrated.

How do I build my personal profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account, and select the "Profile" tab from the menu on the left.
- If it's your first time, click "Get Started" after reading the introductory pop-up.
- Click "Upload Photo" to add your profile picture.
- Enter your full name.
- Choose your title from the drop-down menu.
- Select your start date in the "When did you start selling" field.
- Type out a compelling personal introduction in the "About Me" section.
- Include links to your personal social media accounts.
- Activate "Text Me" and "Make Me Visible on Google" features if you have a paid seat.
- Click "Save Changes" at the bottom to complete your profile.
- Scroll to the top. Click "View Your Public Page" to preview how your profile appears to the public.
- Click "Copy Public Page Link" in your Snowball account to share your public profile link.
How do I use the quick endorsement request tool?
- Log in to your Snoball account, and select the "Request" tab from the menu on the left.
- Click on the "Endorsements" tab at the top.
- Provide the first name, last name, and mobile phone number of the customer you'd like to request the endorsement from.
- Manually type a personalized text or use a template. Click the "Select Template" dropdown to choose a template.
- Click "Preview" to see how the text will appear to the customer.
- Click "Send Request" once you're satisfied with the preview.
- Scroll to the bottom to view your endorsement summary and history.
Your Company Profile
How do I add featured images to my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- On the right-hand side, click on the "Add Featured Images" section.
- Click the "Add Image" button to select an image from your files.
- Provide the image with a title and description for better context.
- Click "Submit" to add the image to your profile.
- Please note that changes may take up to two business days for approval and publication.
- To reorder the images on your profile page, click and hold the six dots to the left of the image, and then drag and drop it to the desired position.
- To edit the title or description of an image, find the image you want to edit and click the pencil icon to the right. Make your changes and click "Save Changes."
- If you wish to delete an image, go back to your Snoball account, click on "Company Profile Builder," find the "Featured Images" section on the right, click the "Edit" button, locate the image you want to delete, and click the trashcan icon.
How do I add a featured video to my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- Scroll down a bit, and in the middle of the page, you'll find the "Featured Company Video" section.
- Click on "Featured Company Video" to proceed.
- Have your video link ready (from YouTube, Vimeo, or an HTML), and paste it in the provided field.
- Click "Save" to add the video to your profile.
- Please note that changes may take up to two business days for approval and publication.
- To change the video on your profile, go back to the “Company Profile Builder,” find the "Featured Company Video" section, and click the "Edit" button.
- Paste the new video link in the field, and then click "Save."
How do I create a product overview page?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- Towards the top of your profile, you'll find the "Add Product Overview Page" section.
- Click on the "Add Product Overview Page" and then click the "Add Product" button.
- Choose a product image from your files, then provide a name, subtitle, and description for the product.
- Enter the price of the product and its payment frequency (e.g., monthly, yearly).
- Click "Submit" to add the product to your profile.
- Please note that changes may take up to two business days for approval and publication.
- To add more products, repeat steps 3 through 6 with additional products.
- To reorder the products on your profile page, click and hold the six dots to the left of the product, then drag and drop it to the desired position.
- To edit product information, find the product you want to edit and click the pencil icon to the right.
- Make any changes you desire and click "Save Changes."
- To delete a product from the page, go back to the “Company Profile Builder,” click the "Edit" button next to "Product Overview," find the product you want to delete, and click the trashcan icon.
How do I add featured reviews to my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
Written Reviews
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- Click the "Add Reviews" button to see a list of your positive reviews.
- Choose the review you want to feature and click "Select." You can feature up to two reviews at the top of your review list.
- To add another review, click "Add Reviews" again and select the next review you want to feature.
- Reorder the featured reviews by clicking and holding the six dots to the left of the review, then drag and drop it to the desired position.
- You can switch out a review by clicking the two arrows to the right of the review, selecting a new one, and clicking "Select."
- To delete a featured review, click the trashcan icon next to the review.
Video Testimonials
- Scroll down a bit until you see the "Add Video Review" section and click on it.
- Click the "Add Video" button to see a list of your video testimonials.
- Choose the video you want to feature and click "Select."
- You can feature up to three video reviews on your profile page. To add another video, click "Add Video" again and select the next video testimonial you want to feature.
- Reorder the featured video reviews by clicking and holding the six dots to the left of the video, then drag and drop it to the desired position.
- You can switch out a video by clicking the two arrows to the right of the video, selecting a new one, and clicking "Select."
- To delete a featured video review, click the trashcan icon next to the video.
How do I add a fact sheet to my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- Scroll down a bit until you find the "Add Fact Sheet" section on the right-hand side.
- Click on "Add Fact Sheet" to begin.
- Input the answers and provide a verification URL to ensure the accuracy of the information you provide.
- Once all company information and verification URLs are entered, click "Submit" in the bottom right corner.
- Please note that your fact sheet will be pending for up to two business days for approval and publication.
- After the waiting period, refresh the page to check if your fact sheet has been approved.
- If you need to make changes to your fact sheet in the future, return to the “Company Profile Builder,” click on the "Fact Sheet" section, make the necessary changes, and click "Submit" again.
How do I add a company message to my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- Scroll down and find the "Add Company Message" section on the right-hand side.
- Click on "Add Company Message" and write your message using up to 800 characters.
- Once you're done, click "Submit" in the bottom right corner.
- Please note that your message will be pending for up to two business days for approval and publication.
- After the waiting period, refresh the page to check if your message has been approved.
- If you need to make edits, go back to your Snoball account and access the “Company Profile Builder.”
- Click on "Edit" in the company message section, make the necessary changes, and click "Submit" to save your edits.
How do I add an FAQ section to my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- Scroll down until you find the "Add FAQ Section" button. Click on "Add FAQ Section" to begin.
- Click "Add Question" to input a new FAQ and its corresponding answer.
- Once done, click "Submit" to save the changes.
- Please note that your FAQ section will be pending for up to two business days for approval and publication.
- After the waiting period, refresh the page to check if your FAQs have been approved.
- To edit an existing FAQ, find the question you wish to modify, and click the pencil icon to the right. Update the question or answer, then click "Save Changes" at the bottom.
- If you need to make changes to your FAQ section in the future, return to the “Company Profile Builder,” click on the "Frequently Asked Questions" section, make the necessary changes, and click "Submit" again.
How do I submit an edit request for my company profile?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand side.
- You have control over and can edit many elements of your BestCompany.com profile. But note that some sections are provided by BestCompany.com, which offers third-party validation.
- Go to BestCompany.com. Find and review your company profile to identify any inaccurate or outdated information.
- Go back to your Snoball account. Scroll to the top and click on the question mark icon in the top right corner. Click on "Support."
- In the first field, type out your request with enough information and details for the BestCompany.com team to know exactly what you want updated on your profile. Include a source for verification if possible.
- Enter your email in the second field.
- Click "Send" to submit your request.
- Your request is now sent to the BestCompany.com content team. They will reach out for further information if needed. The team will inform you of their decision regarding your request.
How do I access my free promotional URL?
- Log in to your Snoball account, and select "Company Profile Builder" on the left-hand menu.
- Locate the grey "Visit Site" button near the top. Click on "Edit" right next to it.
- Here, you'll find two URLs associated with your BestCompany.com profile.
- Focus on the "Share your BestCompany.com Promotion URL" section. In this section, you'll see your BestCompany.com promotional URL. Click on it to see your BestCompany.com profile. Click "Copy Link" next to the URL for sharing.
- Use the copied promotional URL in marketing materials, emails, website, etc. Note that you do not pay for leads or linkouts generated from visitors using this promotional URL.
- Next, focus on the "Enter a destination URL" section. When a customer clicks your promotional URL, they'll see the "Visit Site" button at the top of your BestCompany.com profile. Edit the destination of that button in this setting.
- Once you have entered the desired URL where you want your customers to go after viewing your profile, click "Save Changes" at the bottom.
Awards, Badges, and Widgets
How do I access awards and badges I've earned?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to "Reputation Marketing" on the left-hand side.
- Ensure the “Awards & Badges” tab is selected at the top.
- Here, you'll see four different categories of awards, like Award Badges, Quantity Badges, Ranking Badges, and Star Rating Badges.
- Click on one of the categories to see the different badges available to you. Once you've earned badges, you'll have the option to download them as a PNG or get the embeddable code.
- To download the badge as a PNG image, click the “PNG” option, and it will be saved to your hard drive for use in social posts, newsletters, or other marketing materials.
- To add the badge to your website, click the “Get Code” option, which will provide the necessary code to embed the badge directly onto your site. Simply copy the code and paste it where you want the badge to appear.
How do I use the review widget library?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to "Reputation Marketing" on the left-hand side.
- Next, click on the "Review Widgets" tab at the top to access the library of widgets available.
- Here, you'll see a variety of review widget options. The two review widgets at the top showcase a single review. Click "Choose Review."
- Scroll through the list of reviews and choose the one you wish to showcase. Click "Select" to turn it into an embeddable widget.
- To embed the widget on your website, click "Copy Code" on the selected review widget and then paste it where you want the widget on your website.
- Within the review widget library, you'll find various widgets with different purposes. Some display review statistics, while others showcase the actual reviews.
- Click on any widget to read the description and view an example. To use any widget, click "Copy Code" to obtain the embed code.
Custom Asset Tools
How do I build infographic assets?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to "Reputation Marketing" on the left-hand side.
- Click on the "Create Custom Asset" tab at the top. Find and click on "Infographic Asset Builder."
- You'll be able to see and manage any previous infographics here. Click "Create Asset" to start a new infographic.
- Click the "New Section" button to add a new content section to your infographic. Choose from various content options like image, paragraph, review, star rating stats, average star rating, company comparison, sentiment stats, or award/badge.
- Customize each section using the available tools. Edit text, background colors, alignment, and image size.
- Use the position arrows in each section to rearrange their order.
- Use the trashcan icon to delete sections you don't need.
- Once your infographic looks perfect, click "Save" at the top, give your infographic a name, and then click "Submit."
- To download your completed infographic, click the "Download" button and select your preferred format.
How do I build company comparison assets?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to "Reputation Marketing" on the left-hand side.
- Click on the "Create Custom Asset" tab at the top. Find the "Company Comparison" tool and click "Create Asset."
- In the builder, click the "Compare with" dropdown menu to choose a competitor from the list or select "Industry Average" instead.
- Toggle on or off the data points you want to feature in your company comparison. Customize the comparison to suit your preferences.
- Once you've selected the data points, your comparison is ready! Click the "Download" button at the bottom and select your preferred format to save your completed company comparison.
How do I build award announcement assets?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to "Reputation Marketing" on the left-hand side.
- Click on the "Create Custom Asset" tab at the top. Find the "Award Announcement" tool and click "Create Asset."
- Choose an award category from the list. Scroll through and click "Select" under the award or badge you want to feature in your asset.
- Toggle between Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook sizes.
- Title your award announcement with up to 45 characters.
- Customize the colors of the header, text, and background by clicking on the color swatch and using the circle to pick your desired color.
- Upload an image by clicking "Choose File." Adjust the image size using the slider and drag it to position it.
- Review your award announcement and make any desired changes. When you're satisfied, click "Download PNG" at the bottom.

How do I start a text review campaign?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the left-hand side. Select "Generate Reviews" from the menu.
- You'll see three campaign options: text, phone, or email. Choose “Text Campaign.”
- Download the CSV template provided to easily organize your customer information. It includes the required fields: name, email, zip code, and phone number. Optional fields are available, like the sales rep's name, email, and CRM ID.
- Enter your customer data into the CSV template and save the file.
- Now, upload the CSV file to the platform by dragging and dropping it or clicking "Choose File." Each file can have up to 1500 customers, and duplicates will be automatically excluded from the campaign.
- Click "Start Campaign" to launch your text message campaign.

Video Testimonials
How do I collect video testimonials?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the left-hand side. Select "Request" from the menu.
- Choose the “Reviews” tab at the top.
- Enter your customer's name and phone number for this text message.
- Choose “Video” as the review type.
- Customize a text greeting by using the default or selecting custom templates you've created. You can also manually enter a message and use data hooks to personalize the message with the customer's name.
- Preview the message to see how it will appear to the customer.
- Send the request, and your customer will receive a personalized message with a link to schedule a video call.
How do I download video testimonials?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Reviews" tab on the left-hand side.
- Click "All Reviews" at the top to see all the reviews you've received.
- Use the filters on the right-hand side to click "Video Reviews Only." You will now see a list of all the video reviews you've received.
- Find the video testimonial you want to download.
- Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the video review.
- Click "Download Video." It will open a new tab displaying the video.
- Click "Download" on the video player to start the download.
- Choose the file size that you prefer for the download.
Interacting with Reviews
How do I respond to reviews?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Reviews" tab on the left-hand side.
- You'll now be in your reviews inbox, which includes reviews you've received but haven't responded to yet. Use the filters on the right if you want to find reviews with specific star ratings or review types.
- Scroll through the reviews and find the one you want to respond to.
- The first way to respond to the review is by clicking the "Reply" button. Type out a personalized response and choose whether you want it to be public or private. Click the arrow at the bottom right of the review to send your reply.
- The second way to respond to the review is by clicking the "Reply Templates" dropdown. Here, you can manage templates or select a preexisting template. Customize the message as needed and choose the public or private option. Click the arrow to send your reply.
- If you want to edit a reply, go to the "Sent" tab at the top. Find the reply you want to edit, click the pencil icon next to it, make your changes, and click the arrow at the bottom to save the updated reply.
How do I dispute a review?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Reviews" tab on the left-hand side.
- You'll see a list of all the reviews on your BestCompany.com profile. Use the search bar, star rating, and review type filters on the right to find the specific review you want to dispute.

Before disputing a review, ensure it meets one of these criteria:
- False Information: a review makes an untrue comment in their review.
- Moderation Error: a review doesn't meet BestCompany.com guidelines but was published.
- Duplicate Review: a reviewer submits 2 or more reviews under different names.
- Click "Reply" on the review. Type a message to the reviewer in an attempt to resolve the issue.
- Click the send icon. Three days later, you will be able to dispute the review if the issue has still not been resolved.
- Click the three dots in the top right-hand corner of the review. Select "Dispute."
- Type your reason for disputing the review. Include as much proof, evidence, or explanation as possible.
- Click "Submit" when you've completed the dispute.

Within 48 hours, you'll receive an email explaining if your dispute was approved or denied.
- If approved, the review will be deleted from your BestCompany.com profile.
- If denied, you may be asked for more proof or information. The team will reevaluate your dispute based on the additional details you provide.
How do I request a review rescore?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the "Reviews" tab on the left-hand side.
- Use the filters to find the specific review you want to request a rescore for.

Before requesting a rescore, try to resolve any issues with the consumer who left the review.
- This can be done using the Snoball platform's "Reply" button or through any other outside communication.
- You can only request a rescore once, so be sure the consumer is willing to provide a better star rating and review before you request it.
- Click on the three dots in the top right corner of the review.
- Select "Request Rescore."
- The consumer will now receive an email asking them to rate your company again on your BestCompany.com profile. Keep an eye out for their revised review!
Account Settings
How do I set up my team settings?

Log in to your Snoball account, and select the person icon in the top right corner.
- Select "My Team" from the dropdown menu that appears.
- Scroll down to the "Manage Team Members" section.
- Click "Add Team Member" in the top right corner. Enter the new member's name and email. Assign a role (admin, reputation marketer, sales, or support) based on responsibilities. Choose the relevant companies they'll have access to. Click "Create User" to add the new team member.
- Back in the "Manage Team Members" section, scroll to find the team member you want to edit. Click the pencil icon next to their name. Edit name, email, role, or company as needed. Click "Save Changes" to confirm edits.
- Back in the "Manage Team Members" section, scroll to locate the team member you wish to delete. Click the trash can icon on the far right of their name.
How do I set up my personal settings?

Log in to your Snoball account, and select the person icon in the top right corner.
- Select "Personal Settings" from the dropdown menu that appears.
- In the "Profile" section, update your name, phone number, email, job title, and personal LinkedIn. Click "Save Changes" after updating.
- In the "Change Password" section, enter your new password in the first field. Confirm the new password in the second field. Click "Change Password" to set your new password.
- In the "Email Notifications" section, choose notifications you want to receive. Select from the list based on your role and responsibilities. Click "Save Changes" to apply your notification preferences.
Templates
How do I manage messaging templates?
- Log in to your Snoball account, and select the "Templates" tab from the left-hand menu.
- Navigate to the type of template you'd like to create using the top tabs. Then, click "New Template."
- Give the template a name.
- Craft the message, utilizing personalization tokens as needed.
- Click "Save" to add the template.
- Make adjustments to a template by clicking "Edit" beneath it. Modify content and click "Save" to update.
- Utilize templates in the relevant sections of the software (e.g., "Request" tab, "Message" tab, "Reviews" tab). Customize templates further if needed before sending.
- Delete a template by finding it in the "Templates" tab and clicking "Delete."
Admin Controls
How do I set up referral admin controls?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the left-hand side. Select "Admin Controls" from the menu.
- Make sure you are in the "Referrals" tab at the top.

Find the “Send Referrals to” setting.
- To send referrals only to your Snoball account, click on "Sales." Open the drop-down menu and select the user who will manage communications with your referrals.
- To send to both Snoball and your CRM, choose "CRM." Again, select the user for managing communication.
- Find the “Set Payouts” setting. There are two types of payouts: Referral Payout and Sale Payout. Enter the desired amount for both payouts.
- Find the “Promotions” setting. Click "Create New Promotion." Enter a title and description for your promotion. Choose a start and end date. After entering all the details, click "Save."
- After adjusting your settings, click "Save Changes" at the bottom.
- Click the "Referrals Report" tab in the top right.
- Filter results using the "Time" drop-down menu and choose your desired timeline. Filter your referral history by clicking the filter icon in the top right.
How do I set up automation and integration?
- Log in to your Snoball account and navigate to the left-hand side. Select "Admin Controls" from the menu.
- Click on the “API and Webhooks” tab at the top.
- Find the “Webhooks” section. To create a webhook bridge, select "Add Endpoint" on the right. Choose the webhook type (e.g., Referral Posting Webhook). Paste your CRM's endpoint URL here.
- Test the connection by clicking "Test Payload." If successful, toggle on “Set Webhook Live” and submit it.
- Under the “Webhooks” section, you'll see your newly added webhook. Edit or delete webhooks as needed with the pencil and trash can icons.
- Find the “API Keys” section. Click "Create New Key." Add a key name, and it will generate a one-time key. Copy the key for implementation with your CRM.
- Scroll down to review logs of successful and unsuccessful webhook tests.
- To access our documentation, go to snoball.com. Navigate to the top and select "Integrations." Scroll down to find API and webhook information.
- You'll find documentation for various APIs and webhooks, like the "Referral Request." Get detailed information on required and optional fields. Access the URL where your CRM will post data to our system.
How do I solicit Google reviews?
- Log in to your Snoball account, and select the "Admin Controls" tab from the left-hand menu.
- Click "Reviews and Reputation" at the top.
- Locate the "Post Review Actions" section. Toggle on the "Google Review" setting.
- Click on "Edit" to configure the setting.
- Enter your Google Business Profile short URL in the provided field.
- Choose when to solicit Google reviews (after customers leave a review, after customers leave an endorsement, or both).
- Click "Save Changes" to apply the settings.
